Beating the cold
Rebecca Davis
It was a real wrench getting out of bed this morning. The alarm goes off at 6.15, and though I don’t need any persuading to take my dog for a walk, it was both freezing and foggy outside and being cwtched up in bed felt pretty good! Cwtch is a lovely Welsh word that means something a little bit more than a cuddle or a hug, and I was very comfortably cwtched up beneath my lovely wool duvet. Wool is the perfect material for a quilt, it’s warm and light and allows your body temperature to regulate itself ….. there’s just nothing better on these cold winter nights. If you’ve got a wool mattress topper as well then the weather can do what it likes!
